The following provisions establish the general conditions of sale of the products offered by the company WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK, on its website www.wordfamilybuildbook.com.

Article 1 – Application
These general terms and conditions of sale are intended to govern the contractual relationship between www.wordfamilybuildbook.com, hereinafter referred to as WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK, and any person making a purchase through the website www.wordfamilybuildbook.com, hereinafter referred to as the buyer.

Article 2 – Registration

Personalized products cannot be returned or refunded.

Article 4 – Price

Product prices do not include shipping costs, except for special operations.

Article 5 – Ordering terms

Any buyer declares and guarantees that they have the legal capacity to order from WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK.
The buyer certifies, on the date of the order, to be at least 18 years old or to hold legal authorization allowing to make a purchase on WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK.
The buyer also guarantees that he is fully authorized to use the bank card provided for the transaction and that it is not a card used fraudulently, and then undertakes to ensure that it has sufficient funds to cover the purchases made.

Article 6 – Payment terms
Payment for the order is made by bank card.
The order confirmed by WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK will only be effective upon agreement from the bank payment centers, subject to the suspensive condition of product availability.
In the event of refusal by the banking establishment, the order will be automatically suspended and WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK will take care to notify the buyer by telephone or email and reimburse them within 48 hours.
Furthermore, WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK reserves the right to refuse any order from a buyer with whom there is a dispute.
Article 7 – Payment security

Therefore, the bank details of the member wishing to make purchases by bank card will be required for each new order.

Article 8 – Unavailability of products
Despite all the precautions implemented, a product ordered and purchased may be unavailable.

In the event of permanent unavailability, WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK undertakes to offer you an exchange, a credit note or a full refund for the product, by automatic transfer to the account with which the buyer paid for their order, as soon as possible, at the latest within thirty days from the date of payment of the order.
An email will be sent to the buyer to inform them that their card has been credited and that their purchase is now refunded.
Article 9 – Delivery terms
Delivery is mainly made from our warehouse in Asia.
You may receive your order in 2 packages if an item is not immediately available.
Delivery time varies depending on the destination country:
- Standard: 1 - 3 weeks
- Fast: 3 - 7 days
- Express: 1 - 3 days
Orders are shipped to the delivery address indicated at the time of ordering.
Any address change must be reported to customer service by email (contact@wordfamilybuildbook.com) within 2 hours of placing the order. After this time, neither the post office nor WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK can be held responsible for non-delivery due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address. In this case, no refunds or redelivery are possible.
If you are not there at the time of delivery, the package will be left in your mailbox or at the parcel relay point.
In the event that you refuse the package, following a change of mind, the shipping costs and return costs will be deducted from your refund even if the initial shipping costs were free as well as 25% of the total amount of the order for handling/restocking fees.
If, however, the package is returned to the sender, you will be charged the shipping costs associated with shipping and returning the package (even if the initial shipping costs were free) as well as a 25% handling/restocking fee of the total order amount.
In the event of various cases of force majeure recognized by British or French case law, delivery times may be extended.
However, if the package arrives damaged, incomplete, has a defect to report, or is not received within the specified timeframe, WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK invites you to report this problem by email to contact@wordfamilybuildbook.com within 14 days. WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK will conduct an investigation with the carrier and may take several days. During this period, no refunds or returns will be issued. Once the results are known, if the fault is related to the carrier or the manufacturer, the order will be replaced or refunded.
In any case, the shipping costs paid by the customer cannot be reimbursed by WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK.
Upon receipt of your order, we strongly recommend that the buyer check the conformity of the products delivered.
Customs fees
Please note that WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK is not responsible for customs fees applicable to standard international packages. All applicable duties, tariffs, and customs fees are the customer's responsibility.
In the event of refusal, WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK will charge you all shipping costs related to shipping (even if the initial shipping costs were free) and returning the package as well as a 25% handling/restocking fee of the total order amount.
Article 10 – Right of withdrawal, Returns and Refunds
10.1. Right of withdrawal
Exercising the right of withdrawal
The buyer has 14 days to exercise his right of withdrawal and return at his own expense and without reason, the Product(s) he has ordered (excluding personalized Products).
This period runs from the date of delivery of the Products to the delivery address indicated by the buyer (and in the absence of the latter, from the date of first presentation of the package containing the Products).
The buyer will inform WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK of his decision to withdraw by sending it, before the expiry of the aforementioned period, the withdrawal form also available on the website in the "Returns and Refunds" section or any other unambiguous declaration, expressing his wish to withdraw by email to the following address: contact@wordfamilybuildbook.com.
Return of the Product(s) within the framework of exercising the right of withdrawal (excluding personalized Products)
The Product(s) must be returned by the buyer to WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK no later than 14 days following the buyer's notification of their decision to withdraw, in their original packaging and wrapping (which may have been opened), unworn, unwashed, following the following steps: https://wordfamilybuildbook.com/pages/returns-and-refunds
Reimbursement of the Product(s) returned when exercising the right of withdrawal
If the above conditions are met, WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK will reimburse the buyer for the total amount of his order (excluding personalized Products), including the cost of returning the Products, which remains the responsibility of the buyer.
This reimbursement will take place at the latest within 14 days from the date on which WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK was informed of the buyer's decision to withdraw.
However, if WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK fails to receive the returned Products or proof of their shipment by the buyer within this period, the reimbursement of the Products will then be deferred until the first of these two dates: receipt by WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK of the Products or receipt by WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK of proof of shipment of the Products by the buyer.
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, the consumer has a period of fourteen days to exercise his right of withdrawal from a contract concluded remotely, following telephone or off-premises canvassing, without having to justify his decision or bear costs other than those provided for in Articles L. 221-23 to L. 221-25 of the Consumer Code.
The 14-day period starts from the day:
1° Of the conclusion of the contract, for service provision contracts and those mentioned in article L. 221-4 of the same code;
2° Receipt of the goods by the consumer or a third party, other than the carrier, designated by him, for contracts for the sale of goods. For contracts concluded off-premises, the consumer may exercise his right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the contract.
In the case of an order for several goods delivered separately or in the case of an order for a good made up of multiple batches or parts whose delivery is staggered over a defined period, the period starts from the receipt of the last good or batch or the last part.
For contracts providing for the regular delivery of goods over a defined period, the period runs from receipt of the first good.
10.2. Returns and Refunds
Without prejudice to the provisions of the legal guarantee, nor to the right of withdrawal, the buyer has a period of 14 days to return, at his own expense, any Product(s) that he has ordered if they do not give him satisfaction (excluding personalized Products).
This period runs from the date of delivery of the Products to the delivery address indicated by the buyer (and in the absence of the latter, from the date of first presentation of the package containing the Products).
The buyer wishing to return the Products must go to the “Returns and Refunds” section of the website to make their return request or send an email to customer service at contact@wordfamilybuildbook.com who will indicate the procedure to follow.
After completing this return procedure on the website, the buyer must return the Product(s) in its (their) original packaging and packaging (which may have been opened) unworn, unwashed by following the following procedures https://wordfamilybuildbook.com/pages/returns-and-refunds.
If the above conditions are met, WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK will reimburse the buyer, within fourteen (14) days after receipt of the latter's return request, the amount of the returned Product(s), it being understood that the delivery and return costs of the Product(s) concerned remain the responsibility of the buyer.
Article 11 – Warranty and Liability
All our Products benefit from legal guarantees, provided that they have been used normally and that the maintenance instructions have been followed.
Legal guarantee of delivery in accordance with
In accordance with Article L211-4 of the French Consumer Code, the seller is required to deliver goods that comply with the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity that exists upon delivery. He is also liable for any lack of conformity resulting from the packaging, assembly instructions or installation when this has been his responsibility under the contract or has been carried out under his responsibility.
In application of article L211-5 of the Consumer Code, to comply with the contract, the good must:
1. Be suitable for the use usually expected of a similar good and, where applicable: - correspond to the description given by the seller and possess the qualities that the latter presented to the buyer in the form of a sample or model; - present the qualities that a buyer can legitimately expect in view of the public statements made by the seller, by the producer or by his representative, in particular in advertising or labeling;
2. Or present the characteristics defined by mutual agreement between the parties or be suitable for any special use sought by the buyer, brought to the attention of the seller and which the latter has accepted.

Information relating to legal guarantees of conformity and hidden defects In accordance with Article 1641 of the Civil Code, the seller is bound by the guarantee for hidden defects in the item sold which make it unfit for the use for which it is intended, or which reduce this use so much that the buyer would not have acquired it, or would have paid a lower price for it, if he had known of them. In the event of an action under the legal guarantee of conformity: - The buyer has a period of 2 years from delivery of the goods to take action (Article L211-12 of the Consumer Code). - The buyer may choose between repair and replacement of the goods (Article L211-9 of the Consumer Code). However, the seller may not proceed according to the buyer's choice if this choice entails a cost that is manifestly disproportionate to the other option, taking into account the value of the goods or the extent of the defect. He is then required to proceed, unless impossible, according to the option not chosen by the buyer. - The buyer is exempt from providing proof of the existence of the lack of conformity of the goods during the twenty-four (24) months following delivery of the goods (Article L211-7 of the Consumer Code). - The legal guarantee of conformity applies independently of the commercial guarantee granted by WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK under article 8 of these general conditions of sale. - In the event of implementation of the guarantee against hidden defects: - The buyer has the choice of returning the item and having the price refunded, or of keeping the item and having part of the price refunded, as will be arbitrated by experts (Article 1644 of the Civil Code). - The action resulting from latent defects must be brought by the purchaser within two years of the discovery of the defect (Article 1648 paragraph 1 of the Civil Code). If the above-mentioned conditions are met, WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK will exchange the Product(s) presenting such proven defects of conformity or defects and whose origin is attributable to WORD FAMILY BUILD BOOK or will reimburse the buyer for the amount of such Product(s), paid by the buyer, if applicable. According to Article 1386-1 of the French Civil Code, only the manufacturer is responsible for product safety. Article 12 – Intellectual property
